My name is Jeri Norris and I am a 1993 HBS alum who resides in Los Angeles. I am seeking to assist families who were extraordinarily impacted by last year's El Segundo and Eaton Canyon Fires here in California. We just passed the one year anniversary of the El Segundo and Altadena.

Victims of the fires in El Segundo have immediate needs as they await government assistance. While fires in Eaton/Altedena have subsided, there continues to exist a financial need for on-going repairs and regrowth.

US News recently reported "Altadena Residents Say Southern California Edison's Fire Compensation Program is Inadequate." Therefore, the need for individual donations is helpful.

The families need funds to purchase clothing, basic essentials, and other items to replace everything that was destroyed when their homes burned down. We are raising funds for their short-term needs and a security deposit for a place to live.

In addition to financial support, I have offered my spare bedroom as short-term housing for individuals.

Funds collected will go directly to the families in need in the form of cashier’s checks for immediate use as well as allowances for food.
