Help victims of Hurricane Helene in Western NC

My name is Kagan Dunlap and I’m from Western North Carolina. I lived in Asheville for 7 years and Hendersonville for 2. I don’t have any prior relationship with this nonprofit but I wanted to find a locally ran nonprofit who will directly be able to impact the local communities affected by the devastation of tropical storm Helene. Every penny made through this GOFUNDME will go to Mountain Projects Inc out of Waynesville NC.

I started this fundraiser because I am from Western North Carolina and have many friends and family from there and I want to help provide emergency aid to the families and friends and neighbors who have been affected by tropical storm Helene. The level of devastation I’ve been seeing from videos online and from what friends have been telling me is absolutely devastating to hear. The non profit I’m raising this money for is local to Waynesville NC and they’re a small group rather than a major corporate size entity so you will know your money is genuinely going to help the local people of western North Carolina.
