Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers. My name is Joanna Rodriguez I am Vicky's niece.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Victoria(Vicky). She was a cherished mother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was loved so deeply by all and was a fighter, who loved to party, rock n roll and kick ass.

My aunt, my mother( her sister Evalyn)and I lived together for the last 15 years and even through ups and downs we all tried our best. I was the one to find her the day of her passing and it destroys me to have found someone I saw as a second mom/my aunt in that state. I loved her very much and this has been incredibly hard on us all. As we come to terms with Vicky's tragic and unexpected passing, we are faced with the difficult tasks of trying to afford to live here without her. We all split the bills to uphold the household and unfortunately without her at time it is with extreme difficultly to potentially keep up. I just started working again after a horrific accident I faced a few years prior and my mom can't handle it all and when I last spoke to my aunt she always told me she wouldn't want us to struggle. She wanted to rest in peace knowing her sons John and Joey and myself were okay. She always told me I was a second daughter to her.

We are reaching out to our community for support in honoring Vicky's memory. Funds raised will go towards financial needs in the household i.e Rent, con-ed, verizon, buying food for the house. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in supporting Vicky's family as we grieve the devastating loss of a very dear and loved woman.
