On November 10th, Vicky was rushed by ambulance to the hospital to be blindsided with news no one ever wants to hear: internal bleeding with a large mass connected to her left kidney. Two days later, she had an embolization surgery to stop the bleeding, which caused the kidney to completely lose function. Doctors recommended a 30 day recovery to make sure the internal bleeding was taken care of before they go back in and completely remove the left kidney and mass to then send off for biopsy. Vicky is now scheduled for December 11th to have surgery to remove the mass and kidney, and will need to recover for 6-8 weeks afterward. During the last month, she has been unable to work, and she will not be able to go back until this journey is over; this has caused a huge financial burden in her and her family's life. Vicky’s son-in-law Richie has helped a tremendous amount and is continuing to help to the fullest extent, but this burden has become too heavy for us to carry alone. We’ve set up this go fund me to try to offset some of the expenses that Vicky and her husband are facing, such as medical needs and bills, transportation/travel, treatments, and even personal bills.
