Help Victoria Regain Her Life Back
My name is Laura and I am Victoria's mother. On June 23, 2021, my daughter was in a horrific car accident. It was her VS 2 semi's. As you can see from the pictures she very lucky to be alive. She has no memory of what exactly happened but gets by day by day. Since her accident she has undergone 7 total surgeries so far and hoping for no more. She broke her left ankle, broke her left hip as well as dislocated her left hip, broke her left wrist and forearm, large laceration on her forehead, fractured her right pelvic front and back as well as a Hangman's Fracture (broke C2 of the spine of her neck). Victoria has to be in rehab for approximately 6-8 month at least. She has to undergo several hours of PT and OT to regain her life back. She is showing early signs of PTSD from the accident as well as depression and anxiety. In order for Victoria to regain her life and trust again we are wanting to get her set up with a service dog that will help her through her emotional times as well as be her strength when she can't. We are also in need of getting her a ramp to enter into her own home safety, medical items to make it safe and easier for her to live a normal life.
