On May 20th, Vicki and her friend Dee were heading home after returning from their Costa Rica trip. Another car crossed over the center median and crashed into them. All had to be cut out of the cars and flown to the hospital. Major injuries include broken ribs, spine, legs and extensive bruising.

Vicki and Dee are ok, but have a long road to recovery ahead of them. Dee is retired, but Vicki still works and will be out of commission for a few months.

Aside from herself, she has an older dog that will also need care and resources. Vicki is a Marine veteran and current healthcare worker. She hates to ask for help, but this has been a major setback. While she has friends and family to help take care of her, she'll need funds to help her get through this until she's well enough to work.
