needs a new wheelchair car to keep my independence
Donation protected
Hi there,
my name is Vicki and I am a T4 Paraplegic. This means I can not use or feel the bottom part of my body.
I grew up and still live in a rural area in the South West of Western Australia.. In my private time I love to crochet and make all sorts of craft items which I sell at local markets.
Having a car in the country is a necessity due to no public transport and no wheelchair taxi services. Unfortunately my current car has engine issues which are causing me to having to purchase a new vehicle. Without transport I am housebound, unable to go to work or to participate in social community activities
The NDIS does not generally fund a vehicle for a participant – but may fund modifications to a vehicle the participant regularly uses or would use to address their transport needs.
Please help me financially to purchase a reliable car which will enable me to live independently.
I appreciate all donations.
Thank you,
Vicki
