My sister Vicki Farnsworth was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer in May of 2021. She is a single mom of 5 with her youngest being a senior this year. Vicki is very active in her children and grandchildren's lives. She attends their sporting events, dance recitals, and school events. She is a grandmother to 4 beautiful children with 1 more on the way. She has been a single mom for almost 13 years. She has worked multiple jobs at a time to support her family. She is a hardworker and prides herself on being independent.

She found a lump in her breast in March of 2021. She was scheduled for a mammogram in April. The results showed 2 lumps in her breast and a lymph node that was abnormal. A biopsy showed Stage 3 breast cancer that metastasized into lymph nodes under her arm. Before she could start treatment, the doctor discovered it had metastasized the skin of the breast as well. She started treatment in June. She has been working full time as well as caring for her youngest daughter. She finished round 1 of chemo and has started round 2. The second round is more aggressive and she has had to take leave from her job. She needs help covering expenses while she is unable to work. She still faces surgery, reconstruction and radiation.
