Our family has been through many very difficult and sad times during our lives. Most of our lives were spent taking care of our three sons, all in wheelchairs. The boys suffered from Duchenne's muscular dystrophy, which is a fatal, debilitating disease that attacks all the muscles of the body, starting with the large muscles, such as legs and arms, then finally attacking the muscles of the heart and lungs, causing death. Their sons, Tim and Jeff, both passed away at the age of twenty. Their youngest son, Zack, passed away at 37 years old on December 19, 2024. My husband, my daughter, and I are very much still experiencing the mourning of our last son.

As we lost most of our income from caring for Zack, we are now only getting social security. We need help with our rent, groceries, and all other monthly bills.

Tom (my husband) is 75 years old and is now in a nursing home. I (Vicki) am living at home alone now. Hopefully, my husband will get better and come home soon. I am presently looking for possible solutions to get us out of this mess, so I won't have to keep asking for help. Recently I started working posting rental online for 2 weeks. I just found out it's a scam and I won't be getting paid. I am hurting. Please pray for us.
