Help Vichetca Fight Stage 4 Breast Cancer!
Donation protected
On March 13, 2023, Vichetca’s world changed when she found out she had Stage 3 Breast cancer.
Vichetca is a 22-year-old college graduate with a bachelor's degree from USF. She had plans of going back to school to receive an MBA and being promoted to a higher level manager at Target, a company that she’s put years of hard work into. But because of her diagnosis, these plans will have to be put on hold.
Vichetca has an immense passion for work, education, and her friends and family. With such a jarring diagnosis—especially at such a young age—we want to make her battle as emotionally, physically, and financially comfortable as possible for her. Everyone close to Vichetca knows she would want to do the same for them.
Donations would help put an ease on Vichetca and her family during this time, alleviating some of the stressors that are inevitable with this type of diagnosis and treatment. For example, Vichetca has always dreamed of becoming a mother, so a portion of the donations provided here would be used to have her eggs frozen, so she does not have to worry about the damage chemotherapy can do to fertility. This procedure costs $10,000 out of pocket because insurance doesn't cover it. Vichetca will also receive six chemo treatments. Only the first two are covered by insurance and the remaining four will be $3,000 each.
If you are willing and able to make Vichetca’s battle with cancer just a little bit easier on her, please consider donating here. She brings so much light to the lives of so many, and she deserves the same in return as she fights this.
Update - April 3rd, 2023
Upon further scans, cancer has been found in other parts of Vichetca’s body, which means her cancer is now being staged at stage 4. More extensive treatment will be required for Vichetca, so financial assistance is now more critical than ever. Reading Vichetca’s story, sharing, and donating is greatly appreciated.
