Help Vicente Secure Safe Housing

Hi, my name is Vicente, though most of you probably know me as Doom.

I’m facing the very real possibility of being homeless in just a week.

Until recently, I was living with my sister and her four small children, helping take care of them full-time after her boyfriend, who had been providing housing, left us without a word. Because all the kids are under the age of three, I had to quit my job to be a full-time caretaker. We were couch-surfing wherever we could while trying to save up, and although it wasn’t ideal, especially for young children, we made it work as best we could.

Thankfully, my sister and her kids will be moving in with her father soon. But that leaves me with nowhere to go and no income to secure a place of my own in such a short time.

I’ve exhausted every other option before turning to this. Having no family to help me due to separation and not wanting to go back to a homeless shelter after my awful experience as a tween. I’m doing everything I can to get back on my feet. I have a job interview tomorrow, and I’m hoping that I’ll be working again soon. But right now, I need help to cover a couple of months' rent, a security deposit, and basic living expenses just to stay safe and avoid ending up on the street.

I’m asking for $7,000 to:

-Cover moving cost

- Secure a rental (deposit + rent)

-Pay utilities

- Cover temporary housing while I search

- Afford food, transportation, and other basics

- Save and build toward stability

Any amount even just sharing this, helps more than I can say. Your support will give me the chance to rebuild, work, and move forward with hope and safety.
