Hello! My name is Vic and I'm a 28 year old autistic trans guy from the South Coast of England. In 2022 I was lucky enough to finally get started on HRT and the last six months of taking testosterone have done absolute wonders for both my mental health and my dysphoria. At this point I have been binding on & off for 12 years, and almost constantly for the last 5, which has resulted in chronic rib pain, and I cannot wait for the day I no longer need to wear a binder. The next step I want to take in my transition and feeling at home in my body is top surgery, and unfortunately, due to the failing trans health care in this country and years long waiting lists, I am forced to investigate private options. I am asking for all and any support in helping me to finally be able to look in the mirror and see myself.
The funds I am looking to raise will go towards consultations with surgeons, hospital stays, and the surgery itself. The surgery will enable me to live my life in a body that affirms my true gender, and I am beyond grateful to anyone and everyone that helps me in reaching comfort in my most authentic self. I cannot imagine anything more freeing that being able to finally look in the mirror and see my true chest.
