Vianney Harakandi is a Park Ranger in the National Park of Virunga, east of the Democratic Republic of Congo. He has been doing what he loves for the past 30 years, protecting animals from poachers, and those that are endangered such as the mountain gorillas. Recently, Vianney has been very sick with a serious heart condition which doctors in Congo recommended him to a special hospital in India to undergo the heart surgery. It would be almost impossible for him to cover all the hospital bills, which is why we are asking for your generosity to save this man’s life. Anything will help. Thank you and may God bless you.

Vianney HARAKANDI est un Ranger du Parc National des Virunga, un patrimoine de l'UNESCO, situé à l'Est de la R.D. CONGO. Vianney a travaillé pour le parc depuis plus de 30 ans affrontant tous les dangers: rebelles, braconniers et les animaux sauvages pour préserver cette biodiversité et animaux sauvages au risque de sa vie. Malheureusement récemment on lui a diagnostiqué une maladie qui nécessite une opération cardiaque qui peut se réaliser en Inde et pour laquelle il est incapable de supporter seul les frais s'élevant à au moins 20.000$.
