Help VHICF to raise money for their new Van
Donation protected
"I'm glad that now I can sleep on a bed instead of a cold floor. I can also eat good food instead of scavenging for food in garbage dumps." This is what Caleb said when he was 12 years old and asked what he was thankful for when he came to Vision Help International Care Foundation (VHICF). Many children in the Philippines live their young lives like Caleb: lost, hungry, hurt and helpless. But through organizations like VHICF, there is hope for them.
Vision Help International Care Foundation is a non-profit charity organization that serves heavily poverty-stricken communities in the Philippines. Through its community projects of feedings programs, medical missions and disaster relief programs, it answered to the need of rescuing disadvantaged children. Abused, neglected and poor abandoned young souls are currently cared for in their two child-care facilities: Village of Hope and House of Hope.
In these two centers, many children end up staying until adulthood because they cannot be adopted anymore. VHICF then provides further care and education for them so that they may become independent and successful individuals in the future. To continue with this kind of work, transportation is a must and VHICF needs to raise $37,000 (CAD) to fully pay its Hyundai HD45 which will be used to service the medical and daily needs of the children.
