Hi! My name is Mike Wise. I've been a musician since 1982 (Full time since 1998). My father was a drill sergeant in the army. My only regret in life is never joining the military so I have always felt the need to give back in some way. In addition to playing music for a living, I also give guitar lessons to keep the joy of playing music alive. I recently have started giving lessons at a local VA Hospital. The guitar manufacturer Ibanez was nice enough to donate the first round of guitars to our veterans for FREE but I have more veterans signed up for classes. I am willing to pay for it all by myself but I am a single dad with two kids so I only have so much income to splurge with. That's why I am reaching out to anyone that supports our veterans. If you could give a dollar to help out, that would be awesome. $5, $10, $1000 would be AWESOME. I am giving my time to teach our veterans the joy of playing music but decent guitars are not cheap.
