Founded in Ukraine during the war, EnterDJ uses DJing as a form of creative rehabilitation for veterans and civilians affected by the conflict. Through free DJ education, equipment and mentoring, the programme gives people a new outlet for self-expression, confidence and recovery.

Alongside veterans, EnterDJ supports displaced persons, teenagers, neurodivergent individuals (ADHD, anxiety), and a growing global online community of newcomers to music, making it an inclusive tool for everyone.

The impact is extraordinary.

One veteran described music as "my remedy", explaining that when he isn't playing, phantom pain and difficult thoughts return. Another, after losing a leg in a missile strike, used DJing throughout rehabilitation before performing alongside the Lviv Philharmonic Orchestra and later for Prince Harry during his visit to Ukraine.

These stories reminded us why music matters.

This GoFundMe is being organised by Appetite on the Farm. As an independent festival built around electronic music, we have a platform that can help shine a light on initiatives like EnterDJ. That's why we've partnered with East London's iconic Rinkoff's Bakery to create our limited-edition Appetite doughnut, with a portion of every sale supporting the charity. But we want to go further.

Through this fundraiser, we're asking our community to help us support EnterDJ's work, enabling more veterans and civilians affected by the war to access DJ equipment, education and creative programmes that offer connection, resilience and hope.
