Support The Warhorse Project: Equine Therapy for Veterans and Community Healing

In honor of my upcoming birthday, I am organizing this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for The Warhorse Project. This Pensacola-area nonprofit (located in Milton, a mile from Garçon Point Toll Bridge), founded by retired Army physician and infantryman Dr. Sean Hollonbeck, provides equine-assisted therapy for veterans and others in our community, using a holistic approach to heal those facing PTSD, depression, trauma, and neurological challenges.

As a veteran who has personally faced PTSD, Major Depressive Disorder, severe anxiety, and Military Sexual Trauma (MST), I know how transformative this kind of support can be. Visiting The Warhorse Project with my family, we participated in a Fun Day Farm Feed Drive and witnessed firsthand the peace, resilience, and connection these horses bring to individuals coping with the invisible wounds of war and life.

This November, I invite you to give thanks by generously donating to this campaign. Your contribution will help cover the cost of feed and essential veterinary care for the horses, ensuring they remain healthy and ready to provide life-changing therapy to those who need it most.
