Help Veterans Buddy and Sissie Payne Recover

"So many memories, so many carport conversations with my Dad, so many Christmases, birthdays and celebrations, so many early mornings getting ready for a fishing trip, so many wonderful meals made by Mom, and all of the puppy love... just gone. Nothing readies you for it to just not be there anymore.", my husband wrote in a heartbreaking Facebook post the morning his parents' 130+-year-old house had burned to the ground. By the grace of God, his bedridden father was already staying in the new apartment. His mom was staying at the house at night to care for their four sweet Daschunds, though. She barely made it out alive and is currently in the Burn Unit at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock. Incredibly sad to say that the dogs were not able to get out in time.
Due to the age of the home and some repairs that were needed, my in-laws were unable to renew the insurance policy for their home recently. They were in the process of moving to the new apartment, and couldn't afford the repairs. So this childhood home of so many people in my husband's family, including my husband, is a total loss. Total loss.
They need clothes, dishes, towels, blankets, food, bedding, electronics, EVERYTHING. Their whole lives are the pile of rubble that you see above. And being the age that they are, working is not an option. They're both Veterans of our great country who deserve to have their lives rebuilt and so much more. They immediately took me in and claimed me as their own. Light, love, and laughter is all that anyone's ever experienced with Buddy and Sissie Payne. Their kind hearts are now in need. I am asking you to please help out with any amount you are able to donate!
Money won't help the pain and sorrow. But bill collectors don't care about pain and sorrow. The world is still turning.
Thank you so very much and God bless! May you have a wonderful holiday season. ♥️
