Medical Crisis Donations needed for on going medical Bills

Hi my name is Cheryl I’m trying to get donations for my husband Rob Gast Recently he was hospitalized for his leg ,He had so many blood clots in him .They took him right into surgery to try to get them all out that was his 1st, surgery.His second surgery which was a day later they took some of his leg.Two day’s later he had a 3rd surgery because his leg wasn’t getting enough oxygen in his blood so they went and took more of his limb, Two days later there doing his 4th surgery ,Do to the infected limb.Same for the 5th surgery they took more of his infected bones out and cut more of his limb,This is a lot of trauma to one person body.Unfortunately he had his 6th to remove more infected bones.My husband been through so much trauma it is causing his mental state to go a little ,He doesn’t know what’s going on with him he doesn’t remember people or things around him. Now on June 20,2024 he went in for his 7th surgery in less then a month,Doctor said he has to remove more of his limb In the mean time he’s been getting blood infusions, So they remove more of his limb he almost had to have it removed to the hip.But they said it wasn’t necessary at this time he will have to have a 8th surgeryThe doctor mention that he might have to have a femoral bypass surgery which he had one in 2016.My husband is struggling with all this and so is his family,Where asking for donations for continuing care.He will still be in the hospital for another month .He has a wound vac on him now .His wound is open and will be open for at least for a while he had his eighth surgery ,Before he went in they explain that the would have to remove it to his hip,This is devastating to Rob and his family ,He came out of surgery with part of his limb they did not remove it to his hip,Which would give him a chance to have a prosthetic, Update Plastic Surgeon came into see Rob today 7/5/24 To see about a skin graft and he mentioned that in his case when closing him up that he would be unable to have a prosthetic , He will be having a 9th surgery scheduled for July 11.2024 This is devastating news for Rob and his family ,He’s been a machinist for the past 36 years so this all is devastating to him a job that he loves,,,Rob has a very long journey ahead of him, He will need extensive physical therapy and occupational therapy, Were not just asking for donations where for lots of prayers to get Rob and his family through this In no means is Rob getting any help from the VA even thou he’s a Veteran that was in the Air Force I’m constantly trying to reach out to them for medical benefits and get him transfer to the VA hospital which I think be would get the best care ,I finally got appointment on July 10 In the Cedar Park office to get him in enrolled with the VA .I’m not in the best health either I have a morphine pump in my back that puts a lot of limits on me as well , Rob everything to me I have no family here in Texas or friends he’s All I have is Rob and his company and they are my family And Thank all for you who had donated and all your prayers,Thank you ,And God Bless UPDATE Rob had his 10th surgery on July 11, They where supposed to close him up and do a skin graft,Instead they end up taking more of his limb,At this point it is almost to his hip.This is devastating news for his family,So he’s on wound vac again for at least 3-4 weeks then they will attempt to close him up and do a skin graft . That will be his 11th surgery After his healing he’ll be in a rehab center or the hospital rehab center. For at least 2 weeks at this point Rob won’t be coming home until end of August or September sometime,It’s a lot for trauma to one person body.UPDATE on VA benefits I apply for Rob’s VA benefits haven’t heard anything yet Still have 1 more page to return ,At least he’s now enrolled ,And I can keep the process going .I want to Thank Everyone for there Prayers and donations,Any little be helps if you can donate if you can’t prayers are always needed,Thank You ,And God Bless
