Our family is staying hopeful as my uncle prepares for a serious open heart surgery following a massive heart attack. He was hospitalized and is now under the care of a dedicated medical team. The days ahead will be challenging, but we are grateful for the support from friends and loved ones. Through all of this, he remains in good spirits and is focused on getting through the surgery and starting his recovery.

One of the current concerns is making sure his dogs, Maisie and Max are safe and cared for while he focuses on his health and recovery. David will need to be in rehabilitation for six weeks after the surgery and will be unable to care for his furry friends. The funds raised will help pay to board his dogs during his hospital stay and following recovery. This will allow us to focus on his well-being and ensure his pets are comfortable and secure. It's a big relief for us to know his beloved companions will be looked after.
