Vesper, my beloved little kitty cat who I rescued off the street two years ago, was recently diagnosed with closed pyometra, a life-threatening infection that required emergency surgery. The vet told me that because of the extent of her infection and dangerously low blood pressure she had a 50/50 chance of surviving the operation. Thankfully, Vesper pulled through and is now on the road to recovery.
Unfortunately, the cost of the surgery was $8,000. This is a significant financial burden that I wasn't prepared for, but letting Vesper die simply wasn't an option. The money raised through this fundraiser will go directly toward paying off the surgery that saved Vesper’s life. Every bit of support will help lift the burden this emergency has placed on me.
Thank you for helping out in any way possible. I’ve never set up a GoFundMe before and feel embarrassed to ask for help, but this expense is overwhelming. Your kindness means the world to both of us. Any support you can offer is deeply appreciated.
