The Barabash family is facing an unimaginable tragedy after a devastating car accident.
Their beloved daughter, Veronika Barabash, tragically passed away at the scene of the accident. Her parents are now facing not only the unbearable loss of their child, but also serious injuries and urgent medical treatment.
Veronika’s father, Ihor, is scheduled to undergo spinal surgery. Her mother, Viktoriia, is also receiving medical care and will need surgery. While grieving the loss of their daughter, they must now navigate hospitalization, surgeries, recovery, travel, and the many unexpected expenses that follow such a tragedy.
The family came to the United States from Ukraine seeking safety after the war changed their lives. No family should have to endure this level of pain and uncertainty.
We are raising $120,000 to help the Barabash family cover funeral and memorial expenses for Veronika, emergency medical care and surgeries for Ihor and Viktoriia, rehabilitation, travel, and immediate living expenses during this heartbreaking time.

Local news has now confirmed the fatal car accident and the heartbreaking loss of 12-year-old Veronika:
Viktoriia and Ihor are currently hospitalized in Dothan, Alabama, where they are receiving medical treatment for serious injuries.
