Help Veronica’s Family Rebuild After Devastating House Fire

Today, tragedy struck right here in our community.

Veronica and her multigenerational family—people I’ve known as kind, hardworking, and deeply rooted in our neighborhood—lost everything in a devastating house fire. Flames tore through their home, and in a matter of minutes, a lifetime of memories, belongings, and stability were reduced to ashes. Both of their vehicles were also lost in the fire.

By a miracle, every family member made it out alive. But what they escaped with was only each other—and the clothes on their backs.

I’m creating this GoFundMe not as a close relative or long-time friend, but simply as a neighbor who witnessed this heartbreaking event unfold and felt an urgent call to help. The need is immediate and overwhelming. This family now faces the unimaginable task of starting over from nothing.

They need help with:

• Support for children and elderly family members impacted
