Hi everyone! My name is Verónica Vargas, and I am a professional MMA fighter from Costa Rica with a 4-1 record. I have been training martial arts for over 14 years and have competed professionally in Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, where I am currently the national blue belt no gi champion in Liga BJJ Open.

I am currently signed with Fury Fighting in Texas, an organization that serves as a stepping stone for fighters looking to reach the UFC. My fights are broadcasted on UFC FightPass, the biggest combat sports streaming platform. My ultimate goal is to become the first Costa Rican fighter to enter the UFC and represent my country on the world stage!

To achieve this, I need your support. I live in Costa Rica and everytime I can, I go to Chicago for high quality wrestling and also to train with other Pro MMA fighters. Training at this elite level is essential for me to compete at the highest standards, but it comes with significant financial challenges.

What I Need:

Each fight camp costs between $3,000 and $4,000, which includes travel, accommodation, food, gym fees, and transportation. Sometimes, I also have to cover my coaches' travel expenses so they can corner me in my fights. With your support, I can dedicate myself fully to training and get the opportunity to prove that I belong in the UFC.
