Help Veronica through her fight against Leukemia

On Friday July 17th Veronica went to Providence Medical Center ER for severe leg pains. After multiple tests with no answers they made the decision to send her to Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland OR. Veronica and Santi arrived late morning Saturday by ambulance and more testing began. After a long 24 hrs of waiting we finally got results Sunday morning, the news was devastating; it is Leukemia. Veronica is in good spirits but is unfortunately in a lot of pain. We are waiting for more test results to come back before we know exactly which kind of Leukemia it is. Once we know specifically; we will know what treatment she will need, all of which will be a long road for her and the family. Santi and Shauna remain by her side all day and night while Debbie and family remain at home to help with the kids. Being separated is unbelievably hard on everyone, not just emotionally but also financially. Due to Covid only one can stay with her in the hospital while the other has to be in a hotel/housing, this will be very expensive very fast. People have been asking how they can help, this is the best way. With both Santi and Veronica not able to work this will impose an extreme financial hardship. Unfortunately she can not receive flowers and gifts so this is a better way to help the family. We appreciate all the love and support the family has already received, we all love Veronica so much and she’s a fighter.  With everyones help we’re very hopeful she will be reunited with her family soon, happy and healthy.
