Hello Everyone, this is Gina, Veronica’s friend who started the go fund me for her and her family (I know it says her name as the organizer but it was my first time doing this and I was confused starting. We wanted to share an update and a note from Veronica and her family, please see below.

We would like to express our sincere and profound gratitude for the incredible support shown to my son, Xavier, and our family. The prayers, love, and donations we have received have been a source of strength and comfort that we cannot fully describe.

As Xavier takes on the long, three-year fight against leukemia, which often means constant hospital visits, his spirit remains high—he is very hopeful and faithful that he will win this battle.

Your remarkably generous contributions are essential and will directly help us cover unpaid time off, significant medical costs, including insurance deductibles, coinsurances, medicine, and critical equipment. You are making his treatment possible.

Veronica is a single parent of 6 kids and helping raise her small granddaughter as well. After years of marriage she is going Through a divorce which we know is hard on any family. Unfortunately, her second to the youngest , Xavier who is 15 years old

Had a wisdom teeth procedure about 3 weeks ago which was not healing, fast forward to Sunday, October 12, 2025 Veronica took Xavier to CHOC hospital thinking it was a bad infection. At 2am on Monday morning the doctor came in to the room and asked her to go with him to the hallway and that’s when she received the news that no parent ever wants to hear. Test results showed that Xavier has Leukemia and it was aggressive and they needed to start treatment right away and took him to icu. Veronica has not left her son’s side and her older kids are helping with the younger sibling and pulling together during this time. Veronica has not been able to return to work so she can be with Xavier so we are asking if you’re able to help with any amount to assist them during this time so she can focus on her son and the family unit it would be greatly appreciated. Donations will go towards medical bills and to help family pay their monthly bills while Veronica is off work taking her of her son. Thank you and God bless.
