My name is Veronica, and I am asking for help as I work toward going back to school through a post-baccalaureate program so I can pursue my goal of becoming a research scientist. This next step means so much to me, but because it is a post-baccalaureate program, I do not qualify for financial aid. On top of that, I recently experienced a death in my family, and the money I had carefully saved for school had to go toward helping with funeral costs. What was supposed to be my path forward was suddenly redirected during a very painful time, and now I am trying to keep moving toward this goal without taking on unnecessary debt. My classes start in three weeks at the end of August but I have an extra month and a half before I have to give my first big payment towards tuition.

The support from this fundraiser will go directly toward tuition and books for my first semester. Any help, no matter the size, would mean so much to me and would bring me closer to continuing my education and building a future where I can serve my community with the knowledge I gain from this program.
