Who is Veronica Astra?

Hi, I'm Veronica "Vee" Astra Chevalier, a 32 year old disabled nonbinary trans artist and gamedev from Ohio living in Illinois.

What am I fundraising for?

I'm fundraising to cover the substantial costs of gender affirming care that can't be covered by insurance. Hair removal is incredibly expensive, as is the surgery I'm seeking, which is non-standard, has few practitioners and is out of state.

Why am I fundraising?

I'm disabled and suffered severe injuries in a car accident in 2016 which limited my mobility and ability to work, a condition which has only progressed as time goes on. In addition I suffer from CPTSD, anxiety disorder, and ,me/cfs which frequently leaves me bedbound and unable to leave the house. I have been completely unable to secure work and only have crowdfunding left as an option to get these things done.
