Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out on behalf of my incredible mom, Veronica. She is a devoted mother of six and proud grandmother to thirteen. She is currently fighting a devastating battle of her second diagnosis of breast cancer in just five years. The breast cancer is now at an aggressive stage 3.

In May 2025, Veronica underwent a double mastectomy. Now, she faces an even tougher journey which is six months of intensive chemotherapy and radiation using the most aggressive treatments available. This has left her unable to work, and unfortunately, FMLA has been denied by her employer. My mom has worked hard her entire life, and the system has failed to help her.

The cost of surgery, treatment, frequent doctor visits, and simply trying to keep up with everyday bills has placed an enormous financial strain on my parents. My dad has been doing everything he can to care for her and hold things together, but he's also had to take time off work, making their financial situation even more challenging.

Cancer is not just physically and emotionally draining, it’s financially devastating. That's why we are asking for your help.
