Hi my name is Nancy, I am creating this gofundme page for my sister-in-law Verónica Castro. She was diagnosed with cancer in her stomach, colon, and lungs in September 23, 2025. Her health started to decline rapidly, her oxygen level dropped dramatically and has other complications as well. Liquid filled up her stomach and lungs which caused her significant pain in her back and her stomach, was extremely bloated and retained liquid, which also caused her feet to become very swollen not allowing her to walk and dependent of a wheelchair. She is also a single mother of 5 beautiful kids, ages 20, 19, 11, 5, and 2. Her two year old was recently diagnosed with autism and he is nonverbal and always dependent on mom for everything. Not just him, but all her kids were completely dependent on mom. All her kids, have been drastically affected by this situation with mom. Right now she is hospitalized due to her oxygen level dropping even more. Vero’s health is now in critical condition. We are informed that her lungs have collapsed an is completely dependent on oxygen.
