In December, my dad suffered a stroke in Texas, which turned our lives upside down. Since then, he has been transferred between four different hospitals and eventually to a nursing home. During this time, I lost my job because I was traveling back and forth between states to care for him. My dad has undergone three heart procedures and, sadly, is now unable to walk.

This journey has been incredibly difficult, both emotionally and financially. I am doing everything I can to support my dad and others who rely on me, but the strain has made it hard to keep up with my own bills. I am now at risk of eviction, and I’m reaching out for help so I can keep my home while continuing to care for my dad.
