Hi all,

My wonderful friend Vero is in need of your help. They are an amazing social worker who has been working in the United States with autistic kiddos for the past couple of years. Unfortunately, due to Visa issues, they are no longer allowed to legally work and will need to leave the country. They will be moving to Spain within the next two weeks to be with family and rebuild. They need donations urgently to buy a plane ticket and to wrap up loose ends.

I know firsthand how hard Vero has worked to build a life in the states - from overcoming mental health struggles, to graduating, to working as a social worker with kids. Vero has fought every step of the way. They were even accepted to grad school, but had to decline due to the Visa issues. It is so bittersweet to see them go, but I hope we can lighten the load as they navigate this transition.

Donations will primarily support Vero in moving themselves and their cat to Spain, and to help cover remaining medical costs from a recent injury (a broken wrist).

The goal I have set is the absolute minimum that Vero needs- if we can exceed it, that would amazing. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated.
