Hi everyone,

Our sweet pup Vern has been very sick for the past week. After several days of vomiting, not eating, and clear signs of pain, we took him to the vet where he had X-rays and tests done. Unfortunately, this morning we received the heartbreaking news that Vern needs immediate exploratory surgery to find and treat what’s going on inside—possibly a blockage or something more serious.

We’ve already spent $900 on initial vet visits, imaging, and lab work. Now, we’re facing an urgent surgery estimate of $2,700–$3,500, which is more than we can manage on our own right now.

Vern means the world to us. He’s still just a pup, full of love and life, and we want to give him every chance to recover and live a healthy, happy life. If you are able to help—even a small amount—it would mean everything to us.
