With heavy hearts, we share that our beloved Vernon Tucker has been diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive and life-altering brain cancer. This devastating news has shaken the core of everyone who loves and knows him.
Vern is more than just a man battling cancer – he is a devoted father to Jaxson, a loving partner, a cherished son and brother, and a steadfast friend. His life has always been about giving - from fighting for his clients as a lawyer to providing and caring for his family and friends. Now, it’s our turn to show up for him.
The Fight Ahead
Glioblastoma is one of the most challenging diagnoses anyone can face. The journey ahead involves intensive treatment: brain surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, and possible participation in clinical trials. Vern and his family have a lot of obstacles to overcome in the coming days, weeks, and months.
The emotional toll is immeasurable, but the financial burden is something we can help lift. Because of this diagnosis Vern has been out of work, as well as his life partner Cailley in order to help care for him. Expenses are mounting rapidly.
How you can help
We are reaching out to ask for your support – whether it is a donation, a share, or simply holding Vern and his family in your thoughts. Every act of kindness will make a difference. Funds raised will go directly toward:
• Medical bills and treatment costs
• Home care and recovery support
• Palliative Care
• Travel accommodations for out-of-town treatments
• Exploring clinical trials or alternative care options
• Living expenses for partner and son
Vern is fighting with courage, surrounded by love. His family is his world, and we want to ensure they can focus on what matters most: time together.
Let’s rally around Vern by giving what we can. A donation or sharing of this campaign would mean everything to us.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of Vern’s village. He’s not alone in this fight because he has all of us.
With hope and gratitude,
Vern’s Loved Ones
