On Friday, June 11, 2021  Vernita's car was broken into and all her salon supplies were stolen. We estimate the costs to replace all her salon tools is in excess of $12,000.

This year in particular has been tough for many, but Vivi  had to shut down her salon due to the pandemic and was in the process of relocating.  More than 500 people were saddened that she was leaving.  She had recently come back here to visit family and pick up her stuff from storage, to bring down to Atlanta where she is planning to move. Unfortunately her car was broken in to and her entire salon setup was stolen out of the car.

 If you know Vernita, you know she is one of the most kind-hearted, giving, caring and humble people you'll ever meet. She's also an incredibly talented hairstylist.  Her talents needs to be showcased as she is planning to open a new salon but needs help with getting all of the products/tools to be able to restart in Atlanta.

We all know running a business is not an easy task but it becomes a little harder when you have been dug into a hole that is hard to climb out of. Anything you can donate big or small will have an impact in bringing this minority business back.
