Anyone who knows Vern knows the kind of person he is- hardworking, caring, and always willing to help others. Now he needs our help.

On Friday Vern became critically ill with severe respiratory distress and had to be life flighted to the hospital. Since then, he has been intubated in the ICU being treated for a serious lung infection that's affecting the rest of his body.

The road ahead will be long and uncertain. Doctors expect for him to remain in the hospital for a long time, and even after he is discharged, he will require weeks of IV antibiotic therapy.

Because of this, Vern will most likely be unable to work for several months while focusing on healing. We are raising funds to help support Vern and Lori during this time so they can focus on recovery instead of financial stress. Funds will cover medical expenses, travel costs, and everyday bills while Vern focuses on healing.
