We are a Vermont destination imagination (DI) team and we are trying to raise money to be able to go to Globals this year. Destination Imagination is a program where you can act and put ideas into a play. DI involves STEAM and theater. We build all the costumes, props, and backdrops. Globals is an international version of DI's state tournament. Our play was about these plants having a game show trying to keep the humans alive and people laughed because it was funny.
We really want to go to globals because it will be our first time for our team and it will be fun. We will interact with other people from around the world so we can build relationships and learn about other cultures. We want to see other people's creativity with their own plays.
We had the chance to go twice before but could not go because we did not have enough money.
