We're Vermillion Media, and we need your help to get our team to Lisbon for the 2026 Filmapalooza film festival. After nearly a decade making films for the 48 hour film project, we finally won the award for best film!

This means our film moves on to screen at the international 48 hour film project's festival, also known as Filmapalooza, alongside over 100 other films from all over the globe. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to meet filmmakers we never could otherwise, and celebrate short films as a valuable creative endeavor.

Which is why we're asking for your help. International travel isn't cheap, and while we would love to say all of us can afford to make the trip across the pond, that just isn't the reality of the situation. Making independent films is far from a lucrative career, and while we're all lucky enough to be able to put food on our tables, a trip overseas is not something any of us were budgeting for in 2026.

Any contribution to this fund, big or small, will help ease the financial pressure on those planning to attend, and if we raise enough, might mean the difference between someone from the cast or crew being able to attend when they otherwise would need to stay home.
