Help Vera in Her Fight Against Stage 4 Cancer

Hi my name is Kathy Berry. My children and I are Fundraising on behalf of Vera Berry, my Son’s Wife, who together are facing their toughest challenge of their 17 years of marriage. Early July of 2021 Vera was suddenly diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer that had also spread into her Liver. While hospitalized and receiving chemotherapy she also suffered a Double-Sided Stroke affecting both sides of her brain. Her current overall health condition is extremely fragile and requires round-the-clock care from her Doctors, Nurses and Husband. Vera and her husband Michael have 5 Young Children ranging in ages from 6-15 Years Old. Vera Homeschools All 5 of their Children. She also helps her husband in running his Small Business. Vera and Michael Together maintain their 3 1/2 Acres of Farmland, which provides most of their daily food sources. They live on top of a Mountain and are 7-8 hours away from both of their immediate families. They do not have any Health Insurance and are waiting to be approved for Medicaid, which is basic State Assistance. The Hospital Bills are already mounding. Her husband has not been able to return to work and run his business since her illness began back in July due to her ongoing need of constant physical care. Therefore, they currently do not have any income. Upon her intermittent return home, she will require extensive out of pocket Medical Expenses for Items such as a Hospital Bed, a Motorized Chair, and other necessary medical needs to assist with her Daily Physical Well-being. They do not financially have the means to pay for these continual medical needs all on their own. We are normally not the type Family to ask for help, but considering the magnitude of this crisis, we need an Army to join with us in supporting them and their family through this Life Changing Illness. Every Dollar Counts and will be GREATLY appreciated and put to Good Use as Michael, Vera and Their 5 Young Children continue on in what has quickly become their Most Difficult Trial that no family should ever have to go through.
