I'm a trans woman currently working full-time and a part-time student. I have been struggling to provide for my own needs for an extended period of time due to unfavorable circumstances and hardship. This month, with a week to rent and utilities being due, my roommate has told me that she cannot pay her share of the bills, leaving me short about $1000. My lease is pretty scummy, and I can be evicted if I'm late twice in a one-year period, and I've already been late once.
