Hi All!

I am starting this Gofundme for my dear friend Venus Sevens, formally known as Fi Russell, who is receiving surgery for their stage-four endometriosis on May 4th of this year.

Following a life threatening incident in late July 2025, V's Endometriosis took a turn for the worse. Venus was told at the beginning of 2026 that their body would not survive more than eight months without a hysterectomy. After fighting both medical providers and insurance companies, we were able to get this necessary procedure scheduled. Their endometriosis has reached the final stage, where it starts to impact multiple organs outside of the uterus. Lesions have been found on their heart, making this a complex case, a complex surgery, and a complex recovery. They have also reached the end of their unemployment benefits, and since they aren't able to work, have no income at this time.

Venus is a pillar of our community, always going above and beyond to care for the ones they love. A talented artist, writer, astrologer and a true lover of life, they have emerged from the darkness time and time again and shown that they will not accept defeat. Money raised in this Gofundme will go towards allowing them to take a deep breath and be able to focus solely on their recovery. Bills, groceries, housing security should be covered while they allow themselves to fully commit to healing. They have been in survival mode for most of their life, and deserve to rest, heal, and reset their nervous system as well as their body.
