Hi, my name is Cristina, and I’m asking for help for my dog, Venus. This is really hard for me to do, but I want to be honest about what’s going on.
Venus is my 7-year-old boxer mix and my best friend. Since March, she’s been dealing with ongoing health issues that have led to multiple vet visits and a lot of uncertainty. Just today’s visit cost $800, and altogether I’ve spent $1,253.06 on her care so far. On top of that, I paid $500 for testing because she may have Masticatory Muscle Myositis (MMM). If that test comes back negative, the next concern is cancer.
I still owe $200 from today’s visit, and the costs keep adding up as we try to figure out what’s wrong and how to keep her comfortable.
I work two jobs and do everything I can to keep up with my bills and her care, but I’m starting to fall behind. I hate asking for help, but I don’t want finances to be the reason Venus doesn’t get the care and comfort she deserves.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Any support—whether it’s a donation or simply sharing—means more than I can put into words.
