Help Ventura-Jensen Family After House Fire

On January 28th, a fire broke out in my mom’s house. Thankfully, her husband, DJ, was home to call NFD, so there was minimal structural damage. However, everything from clothes to furniture and beds/bedding (including their brand new month-old sectional) has suffered extensive smoke damage.

My mom just returned to work after recovering from surgery, and DJ is out of work due to a broken leg, limiting what he can do to help clean up. They’re currently staying in the living room of my grandmother’s condo, my sister and cat are staying with our dad, and my brother is going back and forth from school and Dad’s, as it will be weeks to months until they can move back in.

We’re asking for donations to clean/replace clothes, mattresses, and other furniture while the house is being repaired. Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness during this challenging time!
