Hello Everyone,

My name is Venessa Cameron, and I have been accepted into the Information Technology: Software Development program at New Brunswick Community College in Canada.

This opportunity represents a major step forward in my academic and professional journey. From an early age, I developed a strong interest in Information Technology, business, and teaching. Over the years, this passion grew as I explored computer systems, created webpages, and supported others with technology-related tasks. I later expanded this interest into education, where I gained valuable experience teaching subjects such as Data Entry, Customer Service, Employability Skills, and Entrepreneurial Skills.

Through these experiences, I realized the growing importance of technology in every aspect of business and daily life. Many businesses and organizations still face challenges with digital systems, online visibility, and efficient operations. This inspired my decision to pursue software development so I can build practical solutions such as websites, booking systems, business applications, and other digital tools that improve efficiency and support growth.

I chose to study in Canada because of its high-quality education system, practical learning approach, and strong focus on innovation and technology. NBCC stood out to me because of its strong reputation for delivering hands-on, career-focused training in Information Technology, which aligns perfectly with my long-term goals of using technology to support businesses and contribute to digital development in my community.

The estimated cost for tuition and living expenses for my first year is approximately $36,000 CAD. I am grateful to share that I have already secured a portion of these funds through personal savings, family support, and personal income. I am now seeking additional support to help close the remaining gap and ease the financial responsibility as I prepare to begin my studies.

The funds raised will be used strictly for tuition, educational materials, accommodation, and essential living expenses while I pursue my studies in Canada.
