Help Vekaz Fight Lung Cancer

On July 28, 2021 Vekaz had surgery to shave off the cancer that was in his hip bone. Recovery was not easy, physically and financially. To this day he has pain in his hips and bones. 

After some time, he began having chronic pain in his hips, pelvis and back. He lost his appetite and his coughing became severe. He was seen on October 31, 2022 by his primary doctor, XRay of his chest revealed abnormalities and was referred to have a CAT scan of his chest. 

November 8, 2022 CAT Scan revealed masses on his chest. After multiple scans, pathology tests and other medical tests he was officially diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer on November 18, 2022. November 29, 2022 he was told it has spread to his brain after performing a brain scan.  

As you can imagine all this is painful and shocking to the family and Vekaz. All his life he provided for his family, worked hard, most times including weekends. His generosity did not stop there, he has helped many of us whether it be financially or with construction without asking for a single dime. At this time, he has had to quit his construction job to focus on his health, due to pain and suffering. We are asking for all of us to get together and help Verkaz and his family so Vekaz does not feel like a burden. To ease his familys financial worries of how they'll pay for his inhaler medicine that costs $500/ month alone.

His chemo and radiation treatment started in November and he is going to treatment monday-friday. It is taking a great toll on his physical and mental health. He is exhausted and in pain. His daughters take him to appointments so it has affected his family as well.
