Help Vegas Vista Academy Get Started

My name is Dr. Benjamin Feinstein and I am a lifelong educator, passionate about helping the community, teaching, and education. I have started a public charter school in Las Vegas called Vegas Vista Academy, a K-12 dual-language (English-Spanish) public charter school with a focus on community service and experiential education, located in one of the most underserved areas of Las Vegas.

This is our planning year and we need money to get things going. The school has received a million dollar matching grant, but that doesn't mean we got a million dollars- that means that we've gotten a grant that will MATCH money donated, up to a million dollars. In other words, we need money NOW. Every dollar donated will be matched by the grant. As such, I am starting a GoFundMe to support the school by providing VVA with matching money.

All of the money donated to the GoFundMe will be going towards paying for the things the school needs right now to get up and running, including systems and materials to help the school hire teachers and faculty, enroll students and families, and provide services to students.
