Help Keep Vegan Vatoz Alive While Jojo Heals
Hi everyone, my name is Allison, and I’m the owner of Vegan Vatoz Casa De’ Tacos, our beloved vegan taco trailer in Riverside, CA.
On May 21, 2025, Jojo—who many of you know as the face and heart of Vegan Vatoz—suffered a serious leg injury that required surgery and the placement of metal rods. His recovery is expected to take 3 to 6 months, possibly longer.
While Jojo is often the one you see at the trailer, I’ve always been working behind the scenes—managing the business, caring for our kids, and creating all the recipes that make Vegan Vatoz what it is. We’ve always been a team. Jojo has poured his heart into this with love and dedication, and now I’m doing my best to hold it all together while he heals.
With Jojo unable to work, I’m struggling to keep things going on my own. I can’t afford to hire the help we need for food prep, maintenance, and daily operations. The bills are stacking up, and we’re at risk of losing everything we’ve worked so hard to build.
This fundraiser will help cover:
Temporary staffing and kitchen support
Trailer maintenance and operational costs
Basic business and family expenses during Jojo’s recovery
If you’re able to support us—through a donation, a share, or even just a few kind words—it would mean the world to us. Your kindness is helping us keep Vegan Vatoz alive during this challenging time.
