Help Veejay get a car before winter

Hi, my name is Sarah and I'm Veejay's girlfriend. I'm doing this fundraiser for Veejay's 25th birthday. As you may know, Veejay is a professional athlete and has made a living from prize money and sponsors. Last year Veejay was racing (and won!) in Mexico but picked up a parasite. This effected the rest of his year and the start of this year. He was on and off sick from June 2022 through the beginning of this year. His fitness took a hit as well as his income. He has gotten a job since the beginning of the year but it is just not enough to catch up. He has gotten his fitness back and won many races but has not been paid going as far back as December of last year. His car died and he has not been able to afford another one. With winter in Colorado around the corner, I thought I would do a GoFundME for his birthday to help him get a car so he can continue to get to work and the gym for training in the winter.
