Help Veda Bear Beat Cancer

Veda Ann Hedgpeth is an adventurous 4 year old who loves doing her make-up, having her nails done, and playing with her brothers, Emery and Arlo.  Veda also has an unconditional love for drawing. On Monday, August 24, Veda was taken to Children's Hospital in St. Louis, MO after recommendation from her pediatrician. She had been seen by her pediatrician three times in the previous two weeks for feeling unwell and tired. After hours in the emergency department, blood work, and other tests Veda was then diagnosed with leukemia and admitted for further testing. During the next couple days at Children’s hospital, Veda under went a bone marrow biopsy and lumbar puncture and was diagnosed with B-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.

Veda is the sassiest, bravest, strongest, smartest and most independent little girl.
