Support Vasili – Georgina Dragon Boat Club`s First Youth Paddler on Team Canada!

Vasili, is a passionate and dedicated youth paddler from the Georgina Dragon Boat Club, he has made history as the first member of our youth team to qualify for Dragon Boat Canada’s U16 National Team! He will proudly represent Canada at the World Championships in Brandenburg, Germany this July.

This is a major milestone — not just for Vasili, but for our entire club, especially since our youth program began only two years ago.

Unlike many other sports, dragon boat athletes are required to arrive a full week before the competition, with the event itself lasting an additional week. This extended commitment makes the trip especially costly. We’re asking for your support to help cover Vasili’s travel, accommodations, meals, equipment, and other essential expenses.
